"Changing Tides: Navigating the Climate Crisis"

Climate change

Climate change is the biggest threat that we have seen in all of mankind's history over the last century, humans have significantly impacted Global forest cover approximately 1.8 billion hectares of forest were lost between 1900 to 2010 which corresponds to a decrease of around 13% in total forest cover.

  • What is climate change?

Certainly, climate change refers to sudden drops up or down the average temperature in weather this change can also be natural and can caused by changes in the sun's motion or a volcanic explosion. Humans are mostly responsible for this problem of climate change particularly burning fossil fuels these types of activities increase heat and trap greenhouse gases in the earth's atmosphere leading to rising average surface temperature.

  • Impact on earth's Atmosphere of Climate Change:

  • That's fascinating let me explain how climate change significantly affects  Earth's atmosphere here are some key points:
  • Greenhouse effect- when fossil fuel burns and releases it directly in the atmosphere of Earth then it alter its chemistry this allow to reach the sunlight into Earth's atmosphere and prevents heat from being released into space.
  • Human activity - The main reason for climate change is human activity main is the burning of fossil fuels like natural gas coal and oil these activities release greenhouse gases into the earth's atmosphere trapping heat from the Sun and causing Earth's average temperature to rise.
  • Carbon dioxide - Every year human activities release more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and then the natural process can remove it, As a result, the result of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere continues to increase.

  • How to control or fight  with climate change?

It is important to take action on climate change here are practical steps we all can take:

Reduce ambitions - use less and, burn less fossil fuels like coal, oil etc, drive less or use public transportation and support renewal energy sources like green energy, solar energy, wind energy etc.

Energy Efficiency- use energy-efficient appliances to insulate the home and switch to LED bulbs.

Support policies - support the policies that promote the green energy reforestation and carbon pricing.

Consume mindfully -  By locally reducing waste and choosing sustainable products.

Educate others this is the main key point to control climate change that to educate others about climate change its causes and its solutions to spread awareness.

Remember this earth is our home and it is our duty and responsibility to protect it and we should also add that living on earth should be equal and easy.
